Abstract

Ovaj se rad bavi s dvije glavne teme: problem početka ljudskoga živote te eutanazijom. Rad polazi od djela koje je iza sebe ostavio mons. dr. sc. Valentin Pozaić. Rad iznosi i komentira njegova razmišljanja o ovim temama koje su temeljene na poznavanju medicinskih aspekata ovih problema i na nauku Katoličke crkve. Ljudski se život u svojim najranjivijim fazama, početku i kraju, nalazi u raznim ugrozama kao što su povreda dostojanstva raznim manipulacijama te nastojanja za njegovim prijevremenim prekidanjima. Rad prikazuje nastojanja dr. Pozaića da obrani život i njegovo dostojanstvo u tim kritičnim okolnostima.

Abstract (english)

This thesis discusses matters about the start of human life and euthanasia. The basis for the thesis is mons. dr. sc. Valentin Pozaić' s work. It carries out and comments on his opinion about these topics based on knowledge of medical aspects and teachings of the Catholic church. Human life in its most vulnerable phases, its beginning, and end, meets different dangers such as hurt of dignity, various manipulations, and the persistence of its premature termination. The thesis shows the efforts of Dr. Pozaić to defend life and its dignity in these difficult circumstances.
